Designer name: Oscar Quiroz
Origin: Oscar is half-Bolivian, half-Colombian but was born and raised in London.
Design background: Oscar studied at Central Saint Martins. Before starting his label, he worked for Ann-Sofie Back in London and BLESS in Paris.
Design signatures: “I hope I never have one; I love change. People seem to like my knitwear though.”
Career highlight: “So far, doing the installations at Fashion East and getting my label off the ground!”
How would you describe your ideal client? “Someone who likes to find the little details that I love to put in and who likes a hand knit!”
Trademark piece: “I guess it has to be knitwear; I love to make jumpers and see what I can do for a man’s jumper - and a good scarf.”
What is your brand philosophy? “So far I would say... Try it, you might like it!”

Three autumn/winter 2012 inspirations: “Bolivia, Colombia and gold.”
What does 2012 hold for your brand? “Hopefully more exposure, more expansion and an SS13 collection!”
What is your favourite decade in fashion: “I really can’t pick one: I have things ranging from the fifties to spring/summer 2012 and it’s all just as relevant to me.”
Where do you go in London to seek artistic inspiration? “My friends’ houses, and any of the cafés on the Holloway Road, those people throw looks!”
